Vacu treadmill – how does it work?

Vacu (also called vacu shaper and vacu step) is a device that enables you to walk under negative pressure. This makes a simple workout much more intense, and burns calories four times faster than with traditional exercises. The shape of the device itself resembles a capsule in which the exercising person is enclosed from the waist down. Before entering, you have to wear a special foam belt that looks like a short, flared skirt.

While performing movements on the stepper, special sensors monitor the heart rate, and the vacuum increases blood circulation in the lower parts of the body, such as abdomen, buttocks, hips and thighs. This boosts metabolism and accelerates the reduction of fat tissue.

Vacu treadmill – how to dress and what is worth knowing?

The foam belt you put on before entering the capsule should not come into direct contact with your skin. Therefore, you should wear a complete sports outfit for the session: a T-shirt, shorts or gaiters, and athletic shoes (that is, sneakers – not tennis shoes or sandals).

Importantly: do not come to the training immediately after a meal and drinking liquids, such as coffee, tea, juices or alcohol. It is worth waiting a minimum of one hour. However, after the session, you need to drink plenty of water (optimally about 2 litres) and it is better not to eat fatty foods.
